Elizabeth Ellington Kemp is an experienced political and election law attorney. Her practice includes advising clients on campaign finance, lobbying, and tax-exempt entity laws and compliance. Elizabeth’s professional experience includes serving as counsel to the Chairman of the Federal Election Commission and practicing at a premier election law firm in Washington, DC. She has worked with numerous campaigns, candidates, non-profit organizations, political organizations, corporations, LLCs and lobbyists with legal needs ranging from organization and dissolution to contract negotiations, federal and state filing requirements and everything in between. She prides herself on developing meaningful relationships with her clients in order to fully understand and communicate what it takes to get to “yes."
Elizabeth has spent the last decade working in politics, including time with Cause of Action, the Council on Environmental Quality, the office of former Congressman Rodney Alexander and the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary. These positions helped hone the skills and expertise necessary to build a successful law practice in this fast-paced environment.
